With every session, my goal is to create an environment that allows your kids to laugh and be themselves. And that also applies to the adults! I want everyone to walk away from our time together feeling like they had some true quality time with their family....while also having their pictures taken ;)
During our session, I will do anything and everything to get some genuine smiles out of your kids. And maybe some from you as well ;)
FAQ
When do you shoot?
I only shoot Monday-Friday. I keep the weekends free for time with my husband and kids while they are home. If there is an occasion that cannot be on a weekday that you want photographed, reach out and I can let you know if it is an option.
How many pictures will we receive?
My clients tend to receive 100-200 images for a full hour session. These images are all edited and delivered to you via online gallery. If you book a mini session, my clients receive a minimum of 60 images.
How should we dress for our family session?
I will send you a full clothing guide that will hopefully help you as you decide on outfits. I am also always available to help you figure them out if you need it!
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
I like for my in-home newborn sessions to take place within the first two weeks of your baby's life. Always make sure to reach out to me before your baby comes so that we can get it on the schedule.
If you are wanting a Fresh-48 with your newborn while you are still in the hospital, this would need to take place during the first 48ish hours after baby is born (hence the name, right? ;)) Please reach out ASAP if you are wanting this so that we can get the time blocked off on my calendar since those first 48 hours just fly by!
What kind of gear do you shoot with?
I shoot with a Canon R6 and I use a mix between Canon and Sigma lenses.
What is your turn around time?
All of my sessions have a 2-3 week turn around time unless otherwise stated. My goal is to always send out sneak peeks to my clients from their session, but I cannot always guarantee that, especially during the fall when my photo schedule is incredibly packed.
